Hi Abbotsford!

Hello once again, friends!

I arrived back in Abbotsford late last night! I have spent the last few weeks back in Biarritz being a part of their summer ministry. It was great to be back in France again after Greece, and experience the busyness of this city in the summer! I would have stayed longer, but I know this time back home will be much needed and important as I raise support to return in September and spend time with my family.

I was also able to see my parents in Paris a couple weeks ago- and it was a blast! After a few nights in Paris we took a train to Biarritz and they stayed for a few days as well!

My Nikon photos I will need to upload later because of course the airport had to have a mix up with my luggage once again. (3rd time out of 3..) But this time it was actually 40% my fault. ;) But I have some photos off my phone I will share.

The past 6 months back in France have been filled with growth, challenges, and peace. God has taught me more about how to trust him with my life and He has called me to make a 2 year commitment with Ywam. I am so excited for the next two years- I know they will continue to grow me and my faith. God is teaching me to let go of fear and to trust His plan for my life. We can make our own plans, but the Lord really does determine our steps. I had no idea that I would be back in France for this long but I am absolutely thrilled and grateful that God has called me to something greater. I don't know what He is weaving together but I know it is good and I know it will be beautiful.

I am planning on being home until early September and am currently getting things organized on the home front.  I will keep you updated on how things are going, and any fundraising events in the near future. Thank you so much for standing with me and praying for me- especially in this transition time.

Your support is so appreciated,
Steph

1 PETER 5:
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith. Remember that your family of believers[b] all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering you are.
10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.11 All power to him forever! Amen.
